TGAGNOI Membership

TGAGNOI was formed to promote professionalism by providing a forum through which members continue their education and exchange information. To unite guides in a responsive organization and establish communication within the industry. The key membership benefits are educational programs, availability of group liability insurance, networking with other guides, and being aware of city and state matters related to tourism. You will also receive a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, Guidelines. Monthly membership meetings have speakers who are invited to talk on topics of interest to tour guides. An annual all day seminar is held in July and usually features three to four speakers covering a variety of topics. In addition, allied organizations often invite us to attend their educational functions.

Membership Categories

Full Member - $60.00 annual dues.   A Full Member is anyone involved in the tourism and tour industry that has a valid current City of New Orleans tour guide license.  Full members MUST attach a photocopy of their license in order for the application to be accepted by the association.

Associate Member - $40.00 annual dues.   An Associate Member is anyone interested in the tourism and tour industry, but is not a licensed tour guide.

Corporate Sponsor - $100.00 annual dues.  Any business or Corporation involved in the tourism and tour industry.  Corporate members may send two representatives to association functions.  Please list your company name and a “Attention to” for the contact person in your company that you wish to receive newsletters and association directories.
